A strong right-angle bracket with a reinforcing gusset across the inside of the corner - the industrial 'STRONG' look. Two flanges meet at 90°, braced by a triangular gusset whose face carries decorative flutes, and each leg is drilled for screws. Size the two legs independently, set the width and flange thickness, choose one to three screw holes per leg, and pick the screw size (M3-M6) and head style - countersunk for a flush flat-head, counterbored for a recessed cap head, or a straight through hole. Switch the gusset between fluted, plain, or none for a light-duty plain L. Prints flat with no supports and downloads as one sturdy part; raise the quantity to print a matched set on a single plate.
Length of the base leg - the arm that lies flat on the print bed - measured from the corner to its free end. Make it longer to reach across a wider mounting surface.
Length of the upright leg - the arm that stands up at 90° - measured from the corner to its free end. Size the two legs independently, e.g. a longer upright to reach a wall stud.
How wide the bracket is across both legs. About 20 mm is the compact 'single' size; around 40 mm gives a broad 'double' bracket that carries more load and takes two screws per leg.
Thickness of each flange. This is the main strength driver - thicker legs resist bending. Must be deep enough to seat the chosen screw head (counterbored heads need the most room).
How many screw holes go through each leg, spaced across the width. 1 suits a narrow bracket; use 2 or 3 on wider brackets for extra holding power. The width must be broad enough to space them.
Screw the holes are sized for (clearance holes, so the screw passes through). Larger screws hold more but need a thicker, wider bracket to seat their heads.
How the screw head sits. countersunk: a 90° cone so a flat-head screw finishes flush. counterbore: a cylindrical pocket that hides a socket-cap / pan head below the surface. straight: a plain through hole for a washer-and-panhead screw.
The reinforcing web across the inside of the corner. fluted: a solid gusset with decorative flutes down its face, the strong industrial look. plain: a smooth solid gusset. none: no gusset, a plain L-bracket for light duty.
How far the gusset climbs up each leg from the corner. A taller gusset braces the corner more stiffly. Automatically trimmed so it never reaches the screw holes or runs off the ends of shorter legs. Ignored when the gusset style is 'none'.
How many identical brackets to lay out in a row on one plate. Leave at 1 for a single bracket, or raise it to print a matched set at once.
