A Halloween ghost that swallows your drink. Drop a can in and the ghost wears it: a draped sheet with cloth folds and a scalloped hem that stands flat on the table, leaving the lid and tab exposed so you can still drink from it. Six soft ribs inside the collar grip the can, so the ghost comes up with the drink instead of staying behind. Pick your can and it is cut to fit - 12 oz soda and beer, 7.5 oz minis, 16 oz tallboys, 500 ml, 19.2 oz pints, the slim 12 oz and 330 ml seltzer and energy cans, the 8.4 oz slim, or type your own size. Four faces (classic, boo, smile, wicked), sized to taste. Choose glue-in eyes printed in a second colour on their own plate, or cut-out eyes for a one-piece single-colour print. Prints hem-down with no supports.
The can the ghost is cut for. Only three body diameters exist in the wild (66, 57-58 and 53 mm); the rest of the choice sets how tall the ghost stands. Pick 'Custom size' to type your own.
Body diameter of your can, used only when the can size is set to Custom. Measure the straight part of the can, not the lid.
Overall height of your can, used only when the can size is set to Custom.
How much of the can stays visible above the ghost's collar. This is what sets the ghost's height: less exposed makes a taller ghost, more exposed makes a squatter one that is easier to drink from.
How far the hem spreads past the collar. Wider looks more like a sheet pooling on the table and stands more firmly; narrower reads as a tighter sleeve. Very wide flares on a short ghost are rejected because the drape would need supports.
Thickness of the draped shell. 2 mm is a sturdy five-perimeter wall; thinner prints faster and lighter.
Number of cloth folds running down the drape, which also sets how many lobes the hem has.
How deep the folds ripple at the hem. They fade out to nothing at the shoulders. Set to 0 for a smooth cone.
The ghost's expression.
How the face is made. Inlay prints the eyes as separate pieces on their own plate in a second colour, to glue into their pockets — the crispest look. Cut-out goes straight through the drape for a one-piece, one-colour print with no glue.
Scales the whole face up or down. Bigger reads more cartoonish, smaller more ghostly.
Slip fit at the collar, measured across the diameter. Increase it if the ghost is a struggle to push onto the can.
Six soft bumps inside the collar that pinch the can, so the ghost comes up with the drink instead of staying on the table. Turn off for a free slip fit.
