A name accessory for pencils. The name is a deep 3D contour the pencil goes through — sliding through the base (parallel) or plugging into a socket so the name stands on the pencil end (perpendicular) — with the letters in a second-colour topper (or a single colour) and an optional emoji after the name. The hole is sized for a standard pencil and adjustable for thin or jumbo pencils.
Name to render, standing upright. Forced to upper-case. Letters, digits, space, apostrophe and hyphen only. Keep it short — the topper grows with the name.
How the pencil attaches. parallel: the pencil slides through a hole in the base of the name, parallel to it, sticking out both ends. perpendicular: the pencil plugs up into a socket in the base, so the name stands on the pencil end like a topper (pencil points down).
Font: fredoka=rounded bubble (recommended for kids' names), dejavu_sans=clean bold, dejavu_serif=serif, dejavu_mono=monospace, bebas_neue=tall condensed (fits long names). All are chunky enough that the contour border connects the letters into one printable piece.
Optional emoji added after the name, in the topper colour. Rendered in Noto Emoji (bold).
True (default): the letters and emoji print raised on top of a contour border in a second colour (AMS-ready 3MF) — the topper is the second colour. False: a single flat connected name in one colour.
Cap-height of the letters in millimetres — how tall the standing name is.
Diameter of the pencil hole through the collar. 8 mm suits a standard hexagonal/round pencil; raise it for jumbo pencils or a looser slide, lower it for thin pencils.
